I have two Johanna pikes in the same tank, 110 gallons. Will they fight to the death? I have a jet black 6 inch one and an 8 inch one. The smaller one is hiding in the corner. Will they fight to the death?

They're not going to "fight to the death"
The dominant one will kill the other one if it decides to.

Generally the larger one will keep the smaller one pinned to the corner if they aren't going to pair up. Its very possible that the smaller one will be killed if it continues, so its best to separate them if possible, tank divider or something, till they are both closer to the same size. Then try again. ;)

Even if they aren't the same gender, they may still fight like no tomorrow. Sometimes its just hit and miss with Crenicichla.
