Havoc in my 180!

Havoc in my 180!

so today i was doing my weekly 50% wc and i noticed my favorite fish was missing (my salivini sp) after a little searching i found him ripped up and dead in a corner :eek:
he was a year old and about 6 inches and fat bout an inch wide. rip little buddy

after some more searching i found my 10 inch female green texas beat up badly
now i have 3 of them 1 female 10iches who mates with a 12 inch male and the third is about 7 inches a male as well

so i was watching there activity and the 7inch male is the one who i believed did the bullying.
so i was pissed i pulled him out went to the lfs and traded him in for a 7 inch Synodontis (sp) catfish

when i got home i was watching my female she looks bad the remaining male was still picking on her, i d k if hes pissed at her or if its just because shes an easy target, theres also about 5 quarter size fry still living in the tank i dont know if that has any thing to do with it

so i pulled her and put her in my 20 tall with about 50 of there fry a ton of salt, 5ml of melafix and 86 temp, she hasnt moved an inch since being in there(about 6 hrs), so i hope she pulls through, shes still breathing fast, i dk if its the stress or what.

so i need some words of wisdom help me out guys

I've been there...it stinks but it will get better once everything is back in place and all your fish a healthy and gettinga long.
 
w/out the female in my 180 its a peaceful calm place

as for her in the 'hospital tank' she seems to be doing well, her fins are starting to regrow. melafix works great for that. her scales are still missing in her rear half, and her back fin seems a little stiff to me. i just dropped some food in there for the first time so ill see if she eats,

the temp is 82 theres salt in the tank, last night i did a 60% wc, ill hold off 2night on the wc but will do one 2moro, and ill treat her with melafix for the next 7 days

so i guess ill see how she does, i plan to put her back in the tank after shes fully healed

shes doin well top fin is 100% some missing scales on her body
her back fin is growing back well but still short then again its only been a week

she needs water changes.
water changes and melafix with some salt and heat
she'll probably pull through.

she seems like she looks nice when 100%

My 3in oscar killed a pair of breeding convicts and ate their fry...my first batch too :(
