Not to make light of the situation, but I lived in Hawaii for 3 years and through several of the alerts. Best we got was a swell of 12", which knocked some nitrate absorbing plants askew in the Ala Wai canal.

Yeah, just got the University of Hawaii mass spam email that it's cancelled.

Glad the warning dismissed, I miss jogging the canal, thou I go every year to visit, never realized until a few years ago that there were wild seahorses living there.
