Hawaii--peacock bass

More specifically Kauai.. Does anyone know a good place to fish for peacock bass on the island? I would like it to be shore fishing if possible or rentable boats.

There are Bass Fishing areas on Kauai but they are all private property and restricted you have to know the land lords

hmm wierd.. when i called the place im staying about fishing they said the Wailva Reservoir is a public fishing area that has peacock bass, they just didnt know if it was good fishing or not.

hmmm not sure but most reservoirs there u have to know the landlord

Interesting,I wasnt aware that cichla was introduced into Hawaiian waters.
