Hay All, I love with long selender fish that look very agressive. I really like the

Striped Pike Characin. They to me resmeble gars, but I only have a 72 gallon Bowfront which no gar can be housed in. These fish grow up to 13in. They are very agressive and should only be kept with thier own kind from what I heard. Does anyone have more details on them? I like them and if they atre very agressive I'll just have a tank just for this species, also how many can stay in my tank. Thanks

the one's i've seen were pretty big wimps to anything that wasn't small enough to eat. not very aggressive just predatory

Get a rocket gar pike they only grow abouta foot you feed they live food but mine is a big eater

a profile found said it was a 'nonagressive predator' keep only with other large, nonagressive fish. They require similar ph and hardness as discuss and severums. maybe either of those would make good tank mates?
