some people say tanning is only necessary for super red, so i wanna see it by myself how it goes to my High back golden aro. I am going for 24/30. we will see how it goes.
day 1 - February 27, 2017
- the start of tanning regime.
- it started with top tanning.
- pic was taken under soft yellow viewing light.. my bad.
day 6 - March 4, 2017
- light has been on for 24 hours since day 1.
- my first encounter with algae.
- dorsal fin, 1st and 2nd scale gets darker, yet brighter. more like "sun burn".
- pic was taken under white light.
now iam switching to side tanning. im expecting some color change on thr 3rd to 5th scale. will update the progress later.
