Hey guys had my hbrtg for around 3 months now, and i moved him into a 90gal Hexagon looking kinda tank. ( no tankmates ) and today wen i woke up 80% of his tail was gone! so i moved him into my 75gal tank which he was in. So my question is will his tail grow back? hes eating, swimming, and acting like a regular asian arowana....hopefully he wont die on me :( knock on wood

will post up pictures wen i get back from school................
thanks

They've been known to occasionally bite their own tail. Not sure why they do it, but it could be as simple as mistaking it for food or something else. How big is your arowana? It could have something to do with the shape of the tank?

Maintain clean water, and the tail will grow back. He will be fine!

Maybe it was too hungry? Try feeding more or more often and keep your water clean and the tail will grow back.
