hey guys, just got a new 4-5 inche HBRTG and im just wondering cause he is missing some scales and im just wondering if he will grow them back??? also hes not eating....................what should i do / try?

scales will grow back....ask the person or place you got um' from "what were you feeding him"? try dried blood worms, krill, feeder guppies.
don't worry, new arowanas are very picky. My silver only started eating after 2 weeks. As for the scales, they will heal, so don't worry about that either. What tank size is it in? Keep the water clean, warm, and the aro well fed, and you'll have a stunning little specimen. Also, i'd avoid tankmates, or only have totally passive tankmates at that size. Can you post up pictures?
