I'm cheap so I'm using the free version of the HDR program which adds a watermark. Yay.

The tulips are all out of focus due to wind.

actually them being out of focus makes the pic look much more surreal
 
is HDR a program? or is it a special lens
 
HDR is a type of photography that uses a program that takes several photos shot at different exposures and combines them into one image.

actually, HDR is a technique, not a program itself. stands for High Dynamic Range. the idea is that you take 3+ pictures, each at different exposures, like -2, 0, +2, so you have all the shadow and highlight details.

Then you use software like Photoshop or Photomatix to combine them into one image, helping you capture all the details of a scene that you could otherwise not expose for with one shot.

great pics btw, i think youre getting hooked ha! i always get so pissed when i get what i think is some perfect shots only to find out the wind messed everything up :cry:
