So about 2 weeks ago I was feeding my arowana some FD krill and i like to dip it in and have him grab it. But when i went to put a piece in he jumped out and grabbed my finger, i freaked and b4 I could get him in the tank he fell to my carpet. I scooped him up lightly and plopped him in and he resumed eating instantly.

NOW, today I went into my room to feed him and he was flipping and and spazzing. When i went to take off the top he flew into the air and on to the ground. Once again i plopped him in but he wouldnt eat this time.

He will be ok if i got him in the water fast, right?

This fish could be trouble. What I like to do is open one lid at one end of the tank that I usually feed my fish on, and if my 16" arowana is there waiting (obviously hungry), I will do an end-around and quickly open the lid on the other end of the tank and put the food in there. By the time he gets to it, lid is closed.

well he ate about an hour after his spill

can they hit the ground pretty hard and not break any bones or f*&k up their head?

Sometime it'll injure the swim bladder in some case. Not a good thing.

well hes not swimming like his SB is messed up, he landed right on his head so i was worried about his brain

Hitting your head isn't harmful, I do that all the time. DERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!

If you can lower the water level in the tank, add some salt and crank up the heater to 82F. Assuming he's the only fish in the tank, if not see if you can put him in a separate tank while he heals. Also you can add some blackwater extract to help calm him down.

Here's a link to figure out how much salt to use.

First start off with aquarium salt. If its actually a swim bladder problem, you may want to switch over to using epsom salt.

Good luck.:D
