Got him to eat a live pinkie after a few weeks. Now a few more of those and I will get him on frozen

Just dont handle too soon after eating. Or drinking, my hognose took a nice long drink, then I moved him to his cage and he let all the water just run right out of his mouth, what a waste. Some are more sensitive than others so just be careful to let fluids and food settle first. Good luck man, cool snake.

great job, got mine to eat pretty much what ever i give them , just give them a quiet place and eventually they get there.

Thanks guys.... been a long time member here have been taking some years off the fish keeping though due to college. He has been eating really good for me and I make sure everybody knows don't touch him until atleast three days after he eats. And also I don't think I have ever seen him drink. I know that since he is a desert animal he does not drink much but should I maybe soak him or something just to make sure... He has a little water dish available but I don't want him to get dehydrated.
