I accidently stripped my P. Acei cichlid today. I thought "he" might have been sick because "he" wasn't eating. Then I noticed the buccal cavity was enlarged. I tried to look for possible eggs and "he" wound up spitting out 35 fry (1 didn't make it though). They still have a little egg sack but they appear healthy. I hope they all survive. I'm assuming they are hybrids though because I don't have another acei and I believe my zebra hybrid is the daddy. Now I can't wait for my M. Auratus to hatch her eggs.
