He jumped

I came home from work tonight to find my little guy dead on the floor behind my tank, I underestimated his jumping ability.

He managed to knock a piece of 1/2 inch thick acrylic off the top of the tank and then proceed to jump out.

I put in a bubble strip 3 days ago and ever since then he had been acting extremely skittish and started jumping alot more. Do arowanas dislike bubbles?

he was about 8-9inch but he was healthy and didnt have any damage to his fins or barbels.
