So I pulled his last partner after a nice spawn they quickly had after being introduced to each other and now added this variety synspilum with him and turned out it was a female. They laid eggs within a week of being introduced and starting pairing up almost instantly when I added this female to the tank. I bought it from rapps as a male but he must've made a mistake because it definitley turned out to be female haha. So now I have to pull this female especially since I don't want location hybrid melanura and want to just do an all male tank anyways. This male Laguna Yaxha melanura has been quite the fish to raise from 1 inch from last October. Look forward to see him become his full mature adult size one day. He's not even half way there yet.
