ok so I picked the big guy up today....and I think I slightly under-estimated his size! will be upgrading the tank a lot sooner than I had planned!....so far so good, he seems very relaxed and not bothering anyone...and they seem to be ignoring him...here is a video.

this is my first, but have often admired them! I hear so many mixed things about them!....some say they are peaceful but will eat what they can fit in their mouth, others say they are borderline psychotic and will kill everything they are kept with....I have tried to read up as much as I can, and hoping my "in the middle" view on them is correct....and he will co-exist well with my other fish.

thanks, I have a feeling he may actually be a she.....got a good look at the vent thismorning, also pleased to say that everyone seems to be getting along ok thus far! the tank is looking very cloudy though as she`s been digging around a lot in the sand, not a bad thing as it gets all the trapped debris out and filtered lol.
