Got my new gold wolves in today. Two of them were a bit battered, probably from being jostled around on the plane ride and then getting a bit nippy with each other as they were all in the same bag. They all seemed to acclimate fine into their new home. One started swimming about the top area of the tank immediately and about 15 mins later the other two followed suit. I watched my new predators for about an hour before going into the living room to watch tv. Suddenly I heard a loud thump. Went to investigate and all was calm in the tank. Two minutes later "thump!". And every minute or two afterward the same. Come to find out the largest of the gold wolffish is launching himself into the lid very forcefully.
After about 10 rams on the heavy lid he's started to really damage his nose area. The damage doesn't seem to discourage him though as I can still hear him banging away now. What can I do to stop this? I feel like he'll have brain damage by soon if this behavior doesn't soon cease.
