SO i'm heading down to columbus here as soon as I get done writting this. Aquarium Adventure is having a big sale 40% off all fish so even though they are a little high priced 40% off brings them down to a good price lol. I am going to try to pick up this big gibby pleco I have seen there for awhile. I called and they told me he wasn't for sael anymore but Ill try to talk them into letting me have him. lol


I'll let you guys know what I picked up if anything when I get home.

GUYs get this I got a crap load of stuff today.

5 rummynose
5 cherry barbs
1 rubber nose pleco
1 10" L375
1 Big net
1 med box of ehmie (sp) substraight pro

All for less then $200

With the 40% off fish and I had two cupons they honored one for 25% off one item and one for $10 off a $20 or more purchase it cam out to about $190.


The only bad part was I had to put the L375 in my g/fs 54 till my 125 is done cycling hopefully next week.

Hey Koop, I live in the Columbus area as well. What did they have in the way of large growing fish? Oddballs?

head on over to the pleco forum I just did a thread on the L375 the rubbernose is a juvi so nothing real nice no pics of him yet. ill get some pics of her tank this weekend

Really didn't have to many oddites More silver aros and some tank buster pacu but by your avatra I don't think you are interested in pacu lol.
They did have what they said was a breeding pair of Oh hell I don't remeber Ill have to call them. But they only wanted like $160 each for them so like $300 for the pair they were nice But I really don't want anything that will breed I would be scared not to be able to get rid of the fry and have to feed them to My RBPs. I tried to get them to come off a nice gibby but they said no for now but he might come avail. in a couple of months so I gave them my number and told them to call me when they want him gone and he's mine lol.

They did have a pom pomp knife I thought was pretty interesting. I talked to one of the guys that works there and said that next weekend with the 65% off they are going to end up picked through BUT he gets new stock on monday and the sale is still good then so Ill be there monday more then likly.


Oh yeah they did have at least one ripsaw cat. I forgot about that. guy siad they had three but I only saw one. Would love to have at least one in that 585 when I'm ready the one I saw was like 6" and it was like $65 but with sale he would be like $35 or something like that.

When I figure out what that breeding pair is ill post for ya.
 
I'm headed there as soon as I'm home from this field ichthyology course I'm taking as well. The day I'll be there, they'll be having the 65% off sale, but they probably won't have that many interesting fish left
