I had a Flowerhorn shipped to me about 2 months ago. When the fish arrived it's tail fin was split. It seems that no new growth has occurred during the entire 2 months that I've had the fish. Water quality is exceptional and I do plenty of water changes. I added a bit of salt for awhile but that's been cycled out. From what I've found, it's too deep to trim for regrowth and Melafix sounds like the only alternative to a vet performing surgery. I'm thinking about trying it. Any thoughts or ideas?
