Healthiest food for DATS??

what would the healthiest food be for a dat? INjected minnows> freeze dried krill>pellets> what is in your opinion the best fod for Dats color?growth rate?and health!!?

Im trying to geta THinbar, and want it to be healthy but i dont want it growing too fast either!

Dont worry too much about that ;)

I think variety is the most important when it comes to health. Mine get FD Krill, sinking pellets (the ones who will consider it) MP, and the occasional rosy.
 
i want it to be healthy as can be, i just dont want this fish growing like my CK did. I know it wont cause its a dat, Im just aNxious I CANT WAIT TIL I GET MY LIL DATNOID!

i've never heard that. I'm not talkng about fadding tho. I mean my bar is considered a 'dirty' dat. i don't think it'll ever become clean.
 
well the tiger will grow to 6inch fairly fast but then the growth rate will slow right down

trying to stunt the growth of any fish sucks IMHO
 
good to know bout the first 6 inches!... and noi wasnt trying to stunt its growth, im just trying to keep it away from steroids too!

Mine changes from dirty to clean a lot. He likes shrimp pellets, cichlid pellets, guppies, krill, and ghost shrimp.
 
One of my dats grew from 1" to 10" in just over a year.

I feed my guys prawns and smelt as a main diet. They will also take beefheart and bloodworm.
