I installed my cold cathodes in my triple PC 6ft light the other day and I used the velcro that came with it. I also used a glue gun to hold the cold cathode in place on the mounts that came with it. However, after a day with the lights on, it melted the glue and also the glue on the velcro so the mounts came loose.

Does anyone have any suggestion on mounting these things? Any glue or putty that will be able to tolerate high temperatures that I can use for mounting? I don't really want to poke any holes in the reflector as they are quite nice but I will keep it an option as a last resort. I just might have to device a metallic mount to hold it in place. Thanks.

I would go with the metallic mounts as they are more trustworthy than putty or glue.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. A small pinhole on the reflector shouldn't make much difference.

Egads! How could I forgot JB Weld! I used it to retrofit Projector HIDs on my old car. Thanks for bringing that up.
