Currently setting up a 275 cube for a oddball tank. Tank will be in a garage with its own heater and ac unit. Looking for advice on heaters. Obviously I will use two possibly three. Any advice would be wonderful.
Use the heaters with a controller. I have an 500w titanium heater with a inkbird controller in my 150 and loving it so far. First time using the titanium/controller combo
Hey
OOddballs ,
I just bought my heater from Amazon. They have a ton to choose from. Mine has a LED control which tells what your temp is and what you have it set at. It also has a thermometer probe too. It's a 500 Watt for up to 120g. Mine is a Szelam brand from China but it had really good reviews. GL

Sounds like what I am doing. I have always used 2x500 watt heaters on larger tanks and have always struggled with reliability. In my hands, the titanium heaters have never proven to be particularly reliable. However, new designs have become available. My approach is to see what’s available on eBay, read the attached reviews and then research. I may just buy four inexpensive 500 watt heaters with quartz tubes and see how they perform. The extras will be used as needed.
