Okay, so here's my issue.. i have two heaters going in my 125G. One of the heaters is a 200 watt Ebo Jager, and the other is a 300 watt Ebo Jager. Now i have both of them set at 81*, but the thermometer on the tank reads 88*! i thought these things had a thermostat in them??!

they do but they need to be calibrated as all heaters do.
use a thermometer and turn them down slowly until your tank stays stable at the desired temperature.

putting them in a bucket of water to find the right temp setting is MUCH faster than doing the whole tank
