I had a heater break in my reef tank. It was about 2 days before I figured out what the problem was (dealing with a lot of personal issues). Some of my corals look like they have been fried, the anemones look bad. I have done a 50% water change after removing the broken heater. Is there anything I can do to help my corals get back to normal?

Pretty much all you can do is offer the best water quality and the best food possible for a while and hope for the best. Cyclop eez and freshly hatched baby brine shrimp are good choices to start with.

Just so you know, water temp was not an issue. The fish are fine, the corals appear to be fried due to the electrical current from the broken heater.

for the future you can get a ground for your tank and have a second backup heater for the temp.

i cant see how the coral can be fried if everything else is ok

im thinking something withinin the heater leeched out into the water.
