Hey everyone, the motoro stingray that I just got a few days ago is doing great-and last night she got 2 small heater burn marks on her top side-so i moved the heater to a better place...what should I do for treatment-stress coat and maybe add a little salt?
I found out that she was wild caught, and couldn't get a straight answer if she was treated for parasites-lfs said they think she was, but I want to be 100% sure-so I added a little prazipro to the tank...

thanks guys,

john

i personally would just keep the water real clean. You could if you wanted add a little salt. BUt unless it is a bad burn, i would just keep the water clean and it will heal right up

ok sounds good keepinfish-last night the mark was black, then this morning when I looked at it, the black was gone and its now white...I'm doing about 30% wc twice a week-that should be ok right? and should i even bother with stress coat?
thanks!

btw the 2 marks are about a quarter inch thick, by about a half inch lenght-wise on this 7-8in ray...and when I looked underneath her, one of the marks doesn't show, but one does very slightly-you can just make out some red veins there...
