Heater burns...

its making me think that piranhas doesnt feel pain at all...
2 of my 4 rbps have big heater bruns and they dont seem to mind it!!!
still eating voraciously... crazeee...

now i bought heater protectors and covered the entire surface of my heater
for their sake...

oh yeah... this monster have supernatural healing powers man!!! :headbang2

Yea piranhas are tough little bastards! I really think that they have a super high tolerance to pain. They have to! They are always getting in quarrels and such among themselves.

Ouch seems painful. As said, they are bloody tough chaps. I've seen them live on with bites out of them. Make sure you document when they got burnt and when they are completely healed (as good as). I'd be interested to know how long it took exactly.

yup i did that already with the 1st one that got bitten so he hid alot unfortunately it hid on the filter so he got worst. having a chunk bitten on its top and heater burns on its side... took abt 3 weeks till it got the pigments and the bitten skin back. tough little bugger.
 
Wow, I've never seen burns like that from a heater.
