Seems like the facilities people here at work *still* haven't fixed the heater controls... so it looks like I need a heater for my 10gal office tank (no monsters allowed at work :( )

Can anyone recommend what I'd need for a 10gal?

Thanks!

Go to any fish store and ask for a submersible heater, there is really nothing special to this. The only thing is I would go for the heater with a plastic cover over glass - but that is it.

I bought a cheap 50Watt visi-therm clone off ebay for like 15.00 for my 10 gal feeder tank.

I would recomend going bigger than 50 watts. 50 would normally be fine. But, you mention poor heating in the building. Most heater calculations are for room temp or close. When it gets real cold here, we switch over to wood heat. This leaves my basement/tank room a little cool. A 50 watt in a 10 gal would strugle at a room temp of 60F.
It's like the lady said.(size matters)
