Heater for 220g tank

I just finished setting up my 220g. It's up and running. Still got some minor dripping problems but nothing to worry about. My problem is how many watts of heater do i need for the tank? Can you recommend 1?

i would suggest 2 250w ebo jager submersible heater.....bigalsonline.com has them for 19 a piece.....i would do one at each end of your tank to get equal distribution...also if one breaks you still have a back up....which is always good to have

either a ebo jager or one of those titanium controlled heaters.. get 2 like formulatedfire said..

Howdy,

I have two EHEIM JAGER HEATER 17" 250WATT in mine (6'x2'x2.5'). Works great. Maybe a little too much for a heated room (rarely see both firing), but I'd rather be overprepared.

the jager are good enough. Each 250w are good for 100+g.
