How much watt should i used to heat my 125 . and what is a good brand to us and shoudl i need 2 heaters or 1?

umm 125.. i dink you should use 2... 2 250W-300W heater.. i like marineland stealth heater.. they run about 40-60 buck or so.. i dink.. i pick up a 250W from a store closing down for about 25.. =) i might be wrong about the 2 heater, but i would use 2 to help heat up the water quickier...

2 heaters will heat your tank more evenly...but u can put 1 heater with enough wattage in a sumpbox if u have one
and u need about 3-4 watts per gallon maybe x2 200 watts will work for u. i run x2 300 watts on my 180 in my sump. as for brands my lfs only carried a few brands so i havnt had a much experiance with heaters other than elite brand

i have a 125g with a fluval E 300, which kicks out 300 watts. i have the heater in the upper lefthand corner of the tank and i placed a thermometer in lower righthand corner of the tank. The temp is always the same. it's evenly distributed throughout the tank. some suggest 2 heaters. i'm doing well with one.

Well i am thinking 2 heater one on each side so i thinke 200 watts that is good right

if i have one 300 watt on my 125g and you want to try two 200 watt heaters on your's, i'd say you have a good combination. go for it.

150-200 per heater if you use 2. It depends on how warm your house is and how warm the tank needs to be.

I've used the same 250W Visi Therm Stealth heater in my 125 Gal for 5+ years and the temp has held stable the whole time...

If your aquarium's circulation is so poor that a single heater cannot keep the temperature even then I highly suggest you increase circulation...
