I have a 180 gallon tank and I am thinking I want to buy a new heater(s). One thing is I am thinking I don't want glass anymore. My arowanas get excited and sometimes slam into it moving it about an inch. My main question is, How many watt heater do I need? A 500w? Two 200w heaters? Is two heaters at either end really better than one? Is there any new features worth having in heaters? I've noticed that they have external thermostats. Are those really worth having? Any tips from your experience would be helpfull. THanks. Brian (OSPY)
