Heater for outdoor pond

has anyone ever heated an outdoor pond or can give me some guidance on how i can do this the pond is about 1500g i think the demenshions are 15ft long L shaped by 4ft wide by 4ft deep but only 3ft of water so can it be done or dont waste my time and money hopefully it can be done

Sure it can be done... many people have done it before.

The questions are how much will it cost and how good are the heaters. Here's a link for one site but I don't know if they are good or not.

Also watch out for deicers as I think they only warm the temp enough to stop freezing in that area.

Is it above ground or below grade?

If above ground, I think a tarp or similar tent like structure will help contain the heat. The heater element is up to you since wattages and prices vary.
