Has anyone ever had a problem using one of these? Just don't like the way the full heaters encased in plastic, could possibly make it get too hot or something? Don't want anything exploding!

It wont explode. They are made to work w/o issue, and thats what they do. I have Oscars who like to tear up everything, and even I don't need one of those things.
