I have 2 300watt sub heaters should i put them in my dyi filter or in the pond?

I've got mine in the filter and it works pretty good. But depending on the size of your pond, you may need more heaters or a higher wattage heater.

If you can put it in your sump or filter do it. No risk of burns, and less clutter in the pond.

If they fit.

One in the sump (isolate from plastic) and one at the other end of the pond (towards center if possible) with circulation (other that the spraybar is there any circulation pumps?).

Clean looking pond setup too.

I like that DIY filter. Do you have any pics of just it? Is it tied into the spray bar?
What are the dementions of your pond?
8x5x3 Thanks
