Working on getting an 8ft 300 gallon tank setup and wanted opinions on where you would place the heaters.
The tank is going to have the majority of the flow in one direction of the tank, comes in from the right side and exits the left side.
Tank will be filtered by three FX5's.

Would you place the heaters on the right side where the water comes in or on the left side before it hits the canisters or would you space them out, maybe one on each side?

Any thoughts would be appreciated, thanks!

I could be wrong but I wouldnt think location or placement of the heaters really matters with the water being constantly moved around the tank.....and three FXes should make for quite a bit of movement lol.

Agree. My only goal would be to place it some place where it is well conceal from front of the tank viewing and yet still be easily accessible enough for control/maintainance purposes

Thanks all for the input, I'll probably just keep them on the left side since more pipes will be there and hopefully they will blend in.
Waiting on some bulkheads so I can redo the plumbing and get everything going so I can get some fish in there.
