hey i got myself a second heater today from petsmart. second one in a row not to work in my tank. i have a 40 gallon tank and i used to run a 50 watt heater off my sump and it would deliver warm water to my tank. but now that i have a 200 watt to replace the 50. it wont work. the light comes on and goes off in 2 minutes. *even when i got it at 90 degrees!!!!*and i have a digital thermometer and my tempature aint going no where. whats wrong?!? should i move it to another sump? argghhhh my dat has ich right now and im trying to heat his tank but stupid petsmart heaters. i had a marineland stealth and it didnt work. so i replaced it with a rena cal. and it wont work either!!! please some help!!!

take them back i use two 300 watts on my 110 and they dont work hard at all to keep the tank warm..... i even have two 300s on my 180 and they do great
