hi guys and girls,

I recently set up a new 600l fish tank and brought 2x 300w heaters off ebay from Hong kong. well the problem is i cant get these heaters to stabilise to 26c and they keep going up and down, they were only £8.50 each so i guess i got what i paid for? can anyone recommend me some decent heaters which doesnt do this?

thanks glen

I second that ^

I second this. I got two 150W ones for my 180g. Its been two months and the temp has never changed, like more then 1 degree. I am VERY satisfied with the Jebo-Jager line.

words of wisdom told to me from king neptune.....

"Never go cheap on your heaters, many other things but NEVER the heaters"

e series are junk when the room gets even somewhat cold. plus really expensive.

Ebo Jager is my vote too. get them on ebay cause atleast in my area its hard to find them over 125w anywhere but online. should run about $28 usd
i keep a 300 and a 100 on my 220 and it keeps it at 78 np
and a 200 and a e300 on my 106. 200watter heats the tank the e-heater is just a fancy thermometer now
