Heater question

I bought a Fluval E300 for my 135 heres the thing my house is 72 and my tank won't heat over 78 is this normal? is this heater not big enuf? i figured i could hit 79 or 80 easy

Large tanks should always have 2 heaters but thats just me

that way your heaters are on less and dont have to work as hard and can keep the temp where you want it

I agree with two heaters. I think the E300 is too small for a 135. Personally, I would aim for about 500 watts. You could add another 200 watt heater and I bet everything would be good.

cant do it with just one heater less than 500watts. 2 300 watt heaters will do it.

I have 2 300 watt heaters in my 75 which is over kill but they are for my 150 when set up
