Im getting a 125 gallon fishtank tomorrow with everything besides for the heater. Now what kind of heater do i need to heat up the tank to about 72 degrees? Also how much would it cost? Thanks in advance!

I have two in my 150 not sure on the watts there covered in algae right now so cant read it lol. The price will depend on what you brand and kind you get. The cheaper ones I would figure will cost between 15 and 20 a piece. For that size tank I would suggest getting two though and putting one on each side of the tank.

Just put one of these Via Aqua 300W Titaniums in the 38G tank I keep below my 150G Bowfront. Also have a FX5 running in it and a Rena 400 pumping 70* air into the tank This thing keeps everything at 78* no problem.

Only reason I went with one of these is because I bought a 50W one over 10 years ago and it still runs like brand new.
