B bukster Feeder Fish MFK Member Feb 9, 2007 708 0 0 Toledo Mar 20, 2007 #3 i agree, two heaters with about 2/3 of the tank length between them is about ideal. it helps prevent cold spots in the tank. same is true for filters, about 2/3 tank length between them. just make sure the heaters get decent flow past them.
