heater stuck on

oh man my heater stuck on yesterday and deep fried my frontosa all the other chiclids are ok but man the tank got hot close to 100.
noticed it when i went to shut the lights off for the night i could feel the heat radiating off the glass placed my hand on the glass and was surprised at how hot it was.
heater still on and heating away unplugged it and now tank is stable but need to get a new one....

No need to rush out to get a heater since it's basically summertime on the east coast. I unplugged mine 2 days ago and i will leave them unplugged till the fall.

took it back to pet smart today and they need to call headquarters to look up when i bought it to see if they will cover it under warentee....
