So, I have one of those recalled 300W stealth heaters and i was just gonna exchange it, but I was thinking I might get a different one instead. I have turtles and oscars so I need something tough, and I love the durability of the plastic. Had a glass one in a smaller tank awhile ago, and it shattered, so out of concern I'd prefer not glass. I have a 240Gal acrylic. The heater would be inaccessible to the turtles but not the smallest oscar, and be by the fx5 outtake. Something w/ some kind of indicator light would be nice. So can anyone suggest a good heater meeting my requests? Been looking but it seems like all the larger ones are glass
