Hey guys just got a heater for my Cabria tank 75g its all up to temp, but when i do a wc how do i get my tap water the same temp, or does it matter if i jsut poor the water in right away in the tank from the tap... or does it need ot be heated? can i estimate the heat? i do 25% wc every week

i just estimate the heat when you fill up the tank its not so fast that it will shock the fish. and if you have any mating pairs it might induce spawning or so i've heard

okay thanks for info guess just estimate and hope for best should be about the same temp if i run the temp on hot, my tank is 80 F so should be fine.

I estimate the temp of tap water just by running my hand under it. It's not the best technique. You could also hold a thermometer under the water to get an idea of its temp before adding it to the tank.
