heaters in the sump box

im soon adding a diy 50gal sum to my 180gal....ive seen ppl put their heaters in their sumps so i guess my question is do it work as effectively in the sump box?

yes its the same as having it in the main tank. it give your tank more tank space, less clutter, and ur fishes wont get heater burns.

Not to mention that if your fish is kinda rambunctious, it can't break the heater. Win-win.
