It seems to be a trend with my heaters that none of the suction cups have a life span of over a few months, after which they stop sticking completely. Is there anything i can do that will either make them stick or somthing like silicone that can be applied under water to help them stick. Replacing them every two months is getting annoying. Thanks for the help.

are they getting hard? If they are you could try soften up the material again by boiling them for awhile. Or just dropping them in some hot water for a bit

LOL

Im aware that theyre cheap, thats not the issue here, its that it keeps happening and it gets annoying. Also believe it or not but none of the lfs here seem to carry them and if they do there never in stock, i have to go to a place 30min away to find them..thats why i was looking for a more perminate solution.

This really is a manufacturing /materials/maintenance issue , unfortunately. I would just buy replacements or buy brands that have durable suction cups. Jaeger and tronics are pretty decent.. but the suction cup will wear out eventually. Or just treat it as part of maintenance and just replace them after a few months.
