heating 300 gallons

ive got a 300g comming soon. i dont want 5 heaters if i can help it. is their a large cost efficient heater on the market? whats the best way to heat this tank without spending a fortune on a commercial heater

++1 2 eheim jager 300 watts will do perfect thats what i have on my 7 footer you def need 2 heaters one on each side, easiter to have even temp of water all around an good incase one stops working

You guys are all crazy lol... I have a 360 and all I use is a titanium 500w heater...Even that is to much already...I don't know where you plan on putting your tank but mine is in my living room...

I would get a controller for the heater to...You don't need a 1000w or 2 500w...I'm using 2 500w titanium on my 750g also in my living room..

It all depends on how cold the room gets... You may need more than 500 watts.

I use one 500 watt titanium heater with controller and it does great on my 500 tank
