i already have a 250 watt visitherm stealth heater, do i need anything else to keep the 135 at around 82 degrees?

i recomend another stealth(i have two im my 125 and it keeps it steady at 80 degrees with no problems)

Yeah, two heaters in a tank that size is always a good plan. Helps keep the water evenly warm throughout the tank, plus you have a second heater in case one stops working. And eventually, one will stop working!

I have a 300 watt heater heating a 100g tank with a 40g sump. You should try insulating your tank you would not believe how much it helps. I went from a 300watt and a 200watt heater maxed out to a 300watt on the lowest setting. The stuff i used is called Reflectix it's almost like bubblewrap but silver and you just attach it to your tank with tinfoil tape.

It's really cheap and you would be suprised

still safer to have two heaters,if your heater breaks the insulation will not save you, dont have to keep it on just have it on hand just in case
