HEATING A 5 1/2 GALLON TANK - URGENT

Would a 50 watt heater cook my 5 1/2 gallon tank ?

Would a 100W cook my 20 long?

I need to know ASAP, so I can switch heaters around before I leave.

50 watt will be fine in a 5.5 gallon and 100w will be fine in a 20.

Because the Betta is at home, and all my equipment is in my classroom - and I am leaving the classroom shortly. Now that I know this will work - I need to swap heaters so I can take the 50W home with me, instead of buying a new one on my way home. Thanks!
