Hi all

I'm setting up a small 1g plastic tank as a nursery tank (got 14 platy frys and my angels just laid eggs). The tank is similar to this:

I've already got a sponge filter and an air stone ready. but it's quite cold... like 20-22 degrees celcius. any idea how i can heat it up without melting the plastic?

they make small heaters for things like that on amazon. I would get something bigger for the fry though, at least a 5g

Aquael easyheat is a good heater fpr things like this. It doesnt get as hot as an glassheater as its made of some plastic looking material.

will look into those. but where I am I'm stuck to either get what's available at the lfs or wait a while for international delivery

It should be able to be heated by an heatmat for terrariums to. Styrofoam heatmat styrofoam plastic tank. You ahould be able go get your hands on some low wattage heatmats. I think i have som from like 4w of something like that.
