heating for corn snake

Today i am going to upgrade my corn snakes cage from 10 to 20 gal. I was wondering what type of heating i should get. Right now on his 10 gal. I use a heat lamp but at night when it gets cold and idk if it is keeping him warm enough. Should i go with a heating pad? What is the optimal temp. for corn snakes?

They like a range between low to high 20's (Celsius) I use a heat pad at one end of mine

I just use a heat lamp 24/7.
The room also fluctuates in temp so I did that makes the most stable temps.
