So i purchased a tank from a guy that used it for reptiles and there was a heater stuck to the bottom of it. I'm gonna use the tank for fish, so i took it off.

I personally don't have a clue about it or what i can do with it.

It is a Exo-Terra; 120 volts and 16 watts.

Will people buy used ones. How much would it be worth. I'm guessing it will not be as sticky anymore though. What could i do with it?

Thanks for any help.

Be very careful. I personally would not reuse it once it is peeled off of the tank. I have heard A LOT of horror stories where people have had heat pads malfunction and catch fire after peeling them off of one tank and using on another. I'm not sure why it happens....maybe the force of peeling it off damages something inside....I don't really know. But for something that is relatively cheap, I would not take the risk.
