Thinking of converting my 300 gallon stock tank into a tropical above ground pond instead of a small koi and goldfish pond.
Thinking tarp over the top with a heater in pond in winter to keep heat and in early spring and late fall, Also besides oscars and Arowanas what are some other tropical fish species you keep outdoors.
And what is the lowest an outdoor tropical pon can go?
The pond ices over with ice that is about 1/4 inche thick in cold winters here.
